The FCC announced the approval of an additional 77 funding applications for the COVID-19 Telehealth Program. Health care providers in both urban and rural areas of the country will use this $29.41 million in funding to provide Telehealth services during the coronavirus pandemic.

The FCC announced the approval of an additional 67 funding applications for the COVID-19 Telehealth Program.  Health care providers in both urban and rural areas of the country will use the newly approved $20.18 million in funding to provide telehealth services during the coronavirus pandemic.

In a press release, the FTC announced its staff sent letters to nine Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service providers and other companies warning them that “assisting and facilitating” illegal telemarketing or robocalls related to the coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic is against the law.
