The FCC issued a Public Notice suspending the processing of applications for T-Band (470-512 MHz band) licenses, including renewals, in accordance with the current T-Band mandate to hold an auction in 2021. Licensees that have filed, and will in the future file, timely and complete applications for renewal of license2 may continue to operate using their licensed facilities past the license expiration date while the suspension is in effect.

Checking In @ The FCC - The December Open Meeting

Chairman Pai’s theme for the December 12, 2019 Open Meeting is “A Small Number, A Big Difference.”  This is a reference to the item adopting 988 as the nationwide 3-digit number to access suicide prevention and mental health services.  The rest of the agenda continues the FCC’s ongoing efforts to provide more spectrum for next generation wireless services and modernize its cable rules.
