The Don’t Break Up the T-Band Act of 2020 (the Act) was enacted in December of this past year.  Section 902 of the Act directs the FCC to adopt rules to discourage states and jurisdictions from redirecting 911 fees.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) announced she introduced the Restoring Local Control Over Public Infrastructure Act that would rescind 218 FCC orders adopting one-touch make-ready (OTMR) pole attachment and small cell rules.  The purpose of the bill is to restore state and local government control over how wireless carriers deploy 5G equipment on phone and utility poles.  Read More
