The FCC is seeking the public’s assistance in creating a comprehensive, nationwide broadband coverage map.   Part of the Broadband Data Collection program requires the FCC to collect comprehensive data on broadband availability across the United States.  To this end, the FCC is encouraging the public to download the FCC’s Speed Test app, which collects and submits data of mobile and in-home broadband networks. More information about the app is available on the FCC website. The FCC Speed Test App is available in the Google Play Store for Android devices, and in the Apple App Store for iOS devices.
