THE REGULATORY MIX AND BLOG ARTICLES

TMI_Logo.pngAs summer begins and we transition from one season to another, we also make a seasonal transition in the compliance reporting sphere.  A transition out of the annual reporting season and a continuation of monthly, quarterly, and semi-annually reporting.  Although reporting continues on a monthly basis, the majority of the annual reports have been filed along with routine quarterly reports. It’s quite impressive the number of reports filed during the annual reporting season.  There were 3,375 reports filed between March 26, 2016, and May 2, 2016.

bigstock_Stack_Of_Files_197x297.jpgThe sheer volume of reports filed during the annual reporting months is an enormous task, let alone the coordination and cooperation involved among team members. The success of another annual reporting season truly reflects TMI’s commitment of ensuring reports are filed timely and accurately. In retrospect, annual reporting season is more than just filing copious amounts of reports. Surely, accuracy and punctuality are necessary components in delivering uncompromised compliance reporting services, especially during this time of the year. But, annual reporting season is also about working together and building on teamwork.

In my opinion, it’s absolutely remarkable the level of cooperation and understanding exemplified during annual reporting season. With team members in constant communication, it’s truly a group effort that lent credence to the success of another reporting season. All hands were on deck making sure due dates were met and reports were complete with applicable signatures and notary, including corresponding financial statements. The group functioned like a well-oiled machine with the ability to make adjustments on-the-go and keep reports moving. Adding to the group’s efficiency, is the personal sense of responsibility and devotion dedicated to each individual client of TMI.

bigsummerfun.jpgAs we move forward into summer, we build on the experiences from this past annual reporting season and gear-up for the next round of reporting. Looking ahead, the quarterly FCC 499Q (due 8/1/16) and the semi-annually FCC Form 477 (due 9/1/16) are coming due in the next couple of months. Make sure your reporting is in compliance before jumping into some summer fun!
