IDAHO

The Idaho Public Utilities Commission approved CenturyLink’s Petition to waive the requirement to file a two-year network improvement plan for 2013 and extended the waiver to all ETCs filing reports in 2013. The PUC also amended its previous Order  adopting ETC certification and reporting requirements to: remove the requirement that ETCs provide a two-year network improvement plan; and require that ETCs provide a five-year network improvement plan with their reports, consistent with FCC reporting requirements. The PUC agreed that that the FCC’s reporting requirements “are evolving and are increasingly complex” and that, therefore, “the importance of separate state reporting requirements to identify ETC build-out plans is diminishing.”
