FCC

The FCC announced that the Carrier Annual Reporting Data Collection Form (FCC Form 481) must be filed by all ETCs by October 15, 2013. Form 481 includes the annual Lifeline reporting required under §54.422 of the FCC’s rules, as well as the annual high cost reporting required under §54.313 of the FCC’s rules. In June 2013, the FCC waived the July 1 deadline for filing this report for 2013 since the form had not yet been approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The FCC said that, once OMB approved the form it would allow ETCs a reasonable time to file the report.

Annual high cost support use certifications, filed by states or ETCs not subject to the jurisdiction of a state, must be filed by December 16, 2013. FCC Public Notice
