The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau dismissed a petition asking it to initiate a rulemaking proceeding to require edge providers (like Google, Facebook, YouTube, Pandora, Netflix, and LinkedIn) to honor “Do Not Track” requests from consumers.

Court Refuses To Stay Open Internet Order

The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has denied motions for stay of the FCC’s Open Internet/Net Neutrality Order. This means that the FCC’s new Open Internet rules will go into effect tomorrow, June 12, 2015.

Commissioner Pai's Press Release on Plan to "Regulate the Internet"

In his press release dated 2/10/15, FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai  explains why he feels the American people are being misled about President Obama's plan to regulate the Internet. The Commissioner expresses in his release that, "Last week’s carefully stage-managed rollout was designed to downplay the plan’s massive intrusion into the Internet economy and to shield many critical details from the public.
