The FCC conducts a bi-annual review and adjustment of its Schedule of Charges for Applications (47 CFR §§1.1102-1.1109). With this latest order, the FCC has increased application fees to reflect the net change in the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers of 8%. The new application fees will take effect thirty (30) days after publication in the Federal Register. If you’re waiting to make a particular federal filing, you may want to go ahead and file before the application pricing increase.
